CHULLI (WILD APRICOT) OIL

Description

The Chulli (wild apricot) is mainly grown as wild in the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 11000 ft. mostly at Kinnaur and Spiti Valley under the care of nature. This is an organic fruit. The oil from Chulli is already being used to a limited extent by local tribes for food, massaging and for other homemade remedies. To promote such natural products, Govt of HP has registered Chulli Oil under GI Act 1999 and has been allotted Registration No. 467.
